Welcome

A little about Evangelist Rodgers

Missionary Dora A. Rodgers currently serves the Second Jurisdiction of Arkansas Church of God in Christ as YWCC chairperson, as a member of the Board of Examiners for Missionary Licenses, Chairperson of Executive Board of Women’s Department for the North Little Rock District, and as the Administrative Assistant of Missionary Alliance Ministry at Greater New Bibleway Church, she is the founder of “Ministry of Social Concerns”.  As a child, she made a vow to God, that whatever education and knowledge she would obtain, it would be used to assist others.  God has blessed her to keep the vowel of being a humble servant to him and his people.

Formerly, Missionary Rodgers was a member of New Calvary Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Donne L. Lindsey and Mother Irma L. Lindsey.  She served as:  Coordinator of the Missionary Alliance, Deaconess Board and as a Sunday School Teacher. She earned the Pastors award for outstanding service and outstanding achievement award as an Aspiring Missionary in 1991. She was honored in the Jurisdiction as a “Woman of Distinction in 2008. She was called to the ministry of Missionary in 1994.

Missionary Dora A. Rodgers has earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration in 1985 from Henderson State University, Arkadelphia, AR and graduated with honors from Philander Smith College, Little, Rock, AR, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Management in 1995.  She is a member of Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society at Philander Smith College and has a professional license as a Health Insurance Agent/Consultant.  She has served on the Philander Smith College Alumni Board. She currently works as a Management Analyst at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS)

Rodgers serves the community by assisting others with health insurance information and referrals.  She currently serves with community health fairs with her husband, Pastor Dennis J. Rodgers.

Above all, Missionary Rodgers is saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost.   God called her to the ministry to “Work the Works of Him that sent her, while it is Day”, in order that souls may be saved, delivered and set free.  St John 9:4

Missionary Rodgers is the proud First Lady of Greater New Bibleway Church of God in Christ.  She is married to Pastor Dennis J. Rodgers, Sr.  She has three children and three grandchildren.
